Launch of Cohort 4 Frontline
During April 8-12, 2019, Zambia Field Epidemiology Training Program (ZFETP) launched the fourth cohort of frontline Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP) in workshop one; the second workshop was held during 24-28 June 2019. Twenty-one participants, mainly from districts across the country, attended both workshops one and two (Figures 1 and 2).

Participation in conferences
One recent graduate from cohort two advanced FETP made a poster presentation at the 68th EIS conference. A graduate from cohort one advanced FETP made three oral presentations at a national quality improvement conference held in Lusaka Zambia (Figures 3 and 4).

Outbreaks and epidemic preparedness A recent graduate, Dr Fred Kapaya, from the advanced FETP led an outbreak investigation and response to cholera in a district of Zambia; the FETP program director
led a training in Ebola preparedness and response for rapid response teams in eastern province of Zambia (Figures 7 and 8)
